All of our dog beds are stuffed with all-natural, organic kapok fiber. The “cotton” of the Kapok Tree is a sustainable rainforest crop that comes from the renewable source of its seeds. It provides a super-soft down-like feel and a nontoxic, chemical free, environmentally-friendly alternative to commonly used fiberfill. It is hygienic, hypoallergenic, odorless and breathable. As a result of being naturally resistant to mold and decay, no pesticides are used in its production. It is a hardy tree that thrives in poor soil conditions and its harvesting provides a source of income for indigenous people.

The tree is considered sacred in many countries and it is said that sleeping on kapok will bring good luck and sweet dreams, as well as a soft place to flop.
